This software suite represents the capability to carry a design from concept modeling, to analysis, to final engineering drawings. Engineering prototypes are manufactured in local fabrication shops under direction of our staff who oversee all phases of manufacturing and assembly. LKRE projects encompass jet aircraft engine structures like turbine blades, disks, nozzles, flaps, and actuation systems; diesel engine design and component improvement; gearbox designs; and composite structures, such as ceramic matrix, metal matrix, and polymeric composite design. Our engineers have designed many diverse components like battery clips, refrigerators, x-ray tubes, diesel engines, fractional horsepower speed reducers, and supersonic scramjet structures. LKRE's staff also has DoD and NASA research project management experience.
